AVRY comes from the team behind The Aviary Indoor Golf. The golf boom after the pandemic meant we truly outgrew our space, even with an expansion in 2021. We want to be the best of the best, and we decided to move a few doors down to allow us to grow. We rebranded to AVRY, to reflect we are now not solely indoor golf - we have our AVRY academy for lessons, and the Clubhouse is our competitive socialising and entertainment venue. 

 

There is something for all the family, and for any age, ability, experience, and for both golfers and non golfers alike. Our Multiball system is great to get moving, particularly for young kids + the elderley, and offers games and challenges to educate, entertain and exercise. Golfers can play over 350+ PGA courses, or practice on the ranges, challenge themselves on the mini games or map their bags. Try your hand at darts, pool, fusbal, or simply have a drink at the bar and watch some live sports.

The AVRY was born in 2017 as the brainchild of PGA professional Darren Cain, who ran a number of successful coaching academies across Cheshire, but was fed up of losing so many lessons to the ever unpredictable English weather.

 

After a busy first year, in 2019 a second room was added to allow simultaneous coaching and simulator play. By 2020, Becky Brown came on board and we were going from strength and strength and upgraded our coaching bay to offer Trackman technology. The final reopening in 2021 after many lockdowns saw a huge boom in golf, and we had a complete refurb of the venue and added a second Trackman, allowing for the most accurate coaching and play possible.

 

The concept is to offer world class coaching and technology, suitable and accessible in all weather, to professional golfers, amateurs and beginners who have never picked up a club before. We have no dress code, no equipment or experience is needed - we are a fun space to improve or begin your golf journey and enjoy our friendly Clubhouse atmosphere.

We are proud to be an England Golf affiliated facility, and we work alongside them to meet their SafeGolf and EDI policies and procedures. All our non PGA staff are currently completing a Community Golf Instructor qualification through England Golf.
